" I sampled a variety of dishes at Peaceful recently and was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the broth in the noodle soup was fantastic, and the flavors were spot on. The dumplings also had a great texture, with the perfect amount of filling. However, there was a bit of a mix-up with my order, but the staff resolved it quickly and remained cordial. Overall, a nice experience, but I would recommend going during quieter hours to fully enjoy the ambiance. " (*Curated Review*)
" My family and I visited Peaceful Restaurant last week and were pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavors. We tried their famous soup dumplings, and they were delightful! The fillings were juicy, and the dumpling skins were thin yet sturdy enough to hold the broth. The beef rolls were crispy and savory. The only downside was the atmosphere, which lacked a bit of warmth. Overall, it was a great dining experience. We'll definitely come back! " (*Curated Review*)
" Visited this restaurant with a large group, and we ordered nearly every dish on the menu! I can honestly say that while some dishes impressed, others fell flat. My favorites were the sweet and sour pork and the spicy ginger beef. However, the fried rice was somewhat bland compared to everything else. I also felt that the portions were a bit small considering the price. Service was adequate but not remarkable. All in all, it's worth a visit for their signature dishes, but I recommend asking for recommendations. " (*Curated Review*)
" First visit to Peaceful Restaurant and I was amazed by the quality of the food. We ordered the sweet and sour pork and the spicy ginger beef, along with some house-made noodles. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted super fresh. The only hiccup was a bit of a wait to be seated, even though it was not particularly busy. Overall, I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Chinese cuisine in the Coquitlam area. I plan to return soon! " (*Curated Review*)
" I must share my experience from last Wednesday at Peaceful Restaurant. We ordered several dishes to try and were excited to dive into the flavors of Szechuan cuisine. The peppery beef was exquisite and made just the right amount of spicy. The stir-fried noodles had a perfect texture, but some felt it could use a bit more seasoning. The highlight was undoubtedly the pan-fried dumplings; I could not get enough of them! Atmosphere-wise, it could have been better lit, though. I will be back for sure! " (*Curated Review*)
" I had high hopes for Peaceful Restaurant based on what I've heard, but my recent experience was a letdown. I ordered the xiao long bao, which were a bit under-filled, and the beef noodle soup, which was overly salty. The ambiance felt a bit sterile with no music playing. While the service was friendly, I left feeling it didn't quite live up to the hype. I might consider giving it another shot, but it wasn't my best meal. " (*Curated Review*)
" If you want a taste of authentic Chinese cuisine, this restaurant is the place to be. The flavors are a delightful reflection of what I remember from my time in China. Best xiao long bao I’ve had outside of Asia! The beef in the beef roll was tender and well-seasoned. Although service was a little slower than expected, the food definitely made up for it. Just be mindful of the atmosphere; it could be better with some music to liven it up. " (*Curated Review*)
